Austin, Texas., May 28, 2024 — Magnus Technologies, a leading SaaS-based enterprise trucking and logistics management software provider, announces a strategic integration with Trimble MAPS. By leveraging Trimble’s advanced map-centric development platform, Magnus offers breakthrough truckload planning, routing, and management capabilities.
The Magnus Platform incorporates the latest application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services from Trimble Maps. The resources include dynamic map visualizations enriched by real-time weather and traffic data, multi-stop and multi-vehicle routing optimization, and robust route analysis and exception management tools.
“TMS screens have traditionally been filled with data grids that cause users to scroll through multiple screens to find relevant load, driver, customer, and driver information,” said Jay Delaney, Director of Product Management at Magnus Technologies. “A single, well-designed visual can convey information more effectively than screens of data. By enhancing our Magnus Platform with Trimble MAPS’ superior mapping capabilities, we’re not just adding a feature. We’re redefining the user experience.”
Recent enhancements from the Trimble MAPS integration enable the Magnus Platform to identify the most efficient delivery sequences for multi-stop loads, dramatically reducing costs and enhancing service quality. Additionally, the platform has detailed, color-coded visualizations that deliver a comprehensive view of network load balance, facilities, equipment, customer locations, routes (including revenue and non-revenue miles), weather conditions, traffic, load statuses, and more.
“We are honored to have been selected by Magnus. We share the same commitment and goals for innovation in the transportation and logistics industry,” said Rishi Mehra, Sector Vice President at Trimble Maps, Trimble Transportation. “We look forward to supporting Magnus as we deliver on Trimble’s vision to connect the physical and digital worlds.”
