Magnus Platform Updates: September 2021
Check out the latest updates to the Magnus Platform. As a part of our commitment to improve our customers’ business processes, we continually make updates and add features in order to provide valuable solutions to transform our customer’s business as well as the transportation industry.
Some of the highlights of our newest updates include:
- New MDA Multi-Stops View
- Enhanced Fleet Owners Summary Payable Settlements
- Consolidated User Notifications & Banner Announcements
Our customers can find the Magnus Platform Release Notes on Freshdesk.
New MDA Multi-Stops View:
A new view within Magnus Driver App allows drivers to view their load assignments as a series of ordered stops. Each stop is an origin and/or destination in the routed sequence of stops for a given load assignment. This enhanced view provides drivers greater visibility of empty moves (bobtails or deadheads), as well as a more condensed view of their assigned workload. This is an optional view that is disabled by default, but may be enabled in the “Preferences” section under the “More” menu.
Enhanced Fleet Owners Summary Payable Settlements:
The new Fleet Owner Summary Settlements provides the fleet owner a high-level summary of all their revenue and expenses. Additionally fleet owners will receive all of the driver-detailed payable statements.
Consolidated User Notifications & Banner Announcements
Our customers now have the ability to send user notifications as banner announcements within the system. For example, a major highway is closed and the company wants all dispatchers to be aware, a notification is sent out to drivers via the system. The drivers will receive the notification as a banner announcement and must acknowledge the notification. Notifications have an importance level to indicate their urgency. This update also allows Magnus to send a notification to all system users in order to announce a new release or to provide advance notice of system maintenance.
